@superwowie94 No. Hd is a 16:9 format at 1080 x 1920 ( H x W). So when you do the math, 1920 divided by 16, times 9 you get 1080. If you try to do that with 1440 x 1080, you get 810. Not 1080.

@TheRealMaaqee To use the video you shot on the camcorder on your computer, you must use a firewire 1394 cable. Make sure your computer has a firewire port. I don't think that it is more easier on a PC as apposed to a Mac, and I have never used Vegas, but as long as it supports HDV video, you should be fine.

@cashimirs I wouldn't import it into Final Cut, but rather iMovie. The files are much more easily accessible from iMovie; they are stored under movies, iMovie events. Once you find the file you want to transfer, you can then click and drag the file into the flash drive. You may need to use a hard drive because HD video takes up a lot of space.
