Yep...I need to dust my keyboard, hahaha! My first raw footage test, straight from the package, no adapters, no lenses, nada! I did a live capture from the camera directly to the PC laptop via firewire (Adobe Premiere Pro CS3). Shot it in the 24 native progressive mode (24f) using the cine mode ...

My first test with the HV40. Imported into Final Cut Pro. 1080i at 24p. Cinemode. No DOF adapter. Me reading certain lines from the Hidden Poem by Gljaw.

Canon HV30 test no. 3 with Manual Settings. and no attachments.. This was shot 1080i HD 30p and sent to my puter as SD and rendered as 720p HD so the quality isn't the best.. It'll be better once I get that firewire cable
